Guardian Missions¶
The Guardian mission track is the post-civil-war rebuilding arc. It grants Kal-Zul Destroyer K-Class ships (type 77) and includes a one-time per-Gas-planet credit windfall that scales with how many Gas-class planets you already own when the mission completes.
See the Missions overview for general mechanics. See Guardian on the Races page for race mechanics.
Act 1 — Rebuilding the Proud Guardian Race¶
"Civil war has almost cause the destruction and extinction of your race. Your goal in this act is to build up your empire to be the proud Guardian race once again."
| # | Mission | Goal | Reward |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Rebuilding Your Home Base | Income +500 credits/turn | +5,000 ore |
| 2 | Housing Upgrade | Level 20 Housing Infrastructure Tech | +200 loyalty |
| 3 | Exploration | Control 5 planets | +200 loyalty |
| 4 | Enlarging Your Home Base | Control 1× Cluster Level 1 | +200 loyalty |
| 5 | Churning Out Credits | Income +5,000 credits/turn | +500,000 credits |
| 6 | Gas Mining Corporation | Control 1× Gas-class planet | +500,000 credits × every Gas-class planet you own at completion |
| 7 | Increasing Your Defenses | 100,000 PR | 1 new colony |
| 8 | Kal-Zul Ships | 25,000,000 credit reserves | −25,000,000 credits. +5 Kal-Zul Destroyer K-Class ships (type 77) |
| 9 | Answers | Control 2× oceanic-class planets | +10 Kal-Zul Destroyer K-Class ships; advance to Act 2 |
Stack Gas-class planets before completing Mission 6 — the reward scales linearly with your Gas count. Owning 5 Gas planets at completion yields 2.5M credits; owning 10 yields 5M. The check fires once at completion, so additional Gas planets acquired after don't retroactively add credits.
Act 2 — Peace to War: The Warlike Guardian¶
| # | Mission | Goal | Reward |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | The Shipyard | 50,000,000 credit reserves | Reward script disabled — message says "PM an Administrator to get access to your new ship". Manual fulfilment by admin. |
| 2 | Military Build-Up | More than 200,000 PR | +100 loyalty |
| 3 | Natural Resource Required | Control 1× Ice-class planet | +200 loyalty |
| 4 | The Temptation | Control 80 planets | 3 new colonies |
| 5 | Beginning of the Warlike Guardian | Control 2× Marshy-class planets | +150 loyalty |
| 6 | From Peace to War | Control 100 planets | 2 new colonies |
| 7 | Constructing the Guardian Obelisk | 200,000,000 credit reserves | −200,000,000 credits. 2 new colonies |
| 8 | Super Power | Control 200 planets | +250 loyalty |
| 9 | Final Mission | Control 300 planets | Infrastructure research cost cut to 1/10. Temporary — discount fades after roughly the next ~5 research levels |
Notes¶
- Guardian Act 1 m_1 is the only mission in any race's track that rewards ore (+5,000). Reflects the fact that Guardian struggles with early resources.
- Act 2 m_1 is unique: the automated reward (a ship grant) is disabled, leaving the player to PM an admin for manual fulfilment. Treat as an admin-gated reward.
- The two big credit-burning missions (Act 1 m_8 and Act 2 m_7) cost a combined 225 million credits — the largest sink of any track. Plan reserves accordingly.
- Guardian Act 2 does not share content with Terran/Aspha — it has its own unique mission set throughout.
